Few items qualify as true must-haves, and the DRYKI is undoubtedly one of them. The DRYKI was born from a memorable sweaty handshake during a pivotal interview that left our founder determined to design a solution.

In this blog, we'll explore the simple care requirements that make the DRYKI an essential addition to your daily life.

Washing and Drying Guidelines

To keep your DRYKI clean and hygienic, regular washing is necessary. However, it's essential to follow the proper washing and drying guidelines to avoid damaging the fabric or reducing its absorbency.

  • Avoid bleach and fabric softener:
  • When it comes to detergent choices, you can use any standard, everyday detergent to wash your DRYKI. However, it's crucial to avoid bleach and fabric softener. Bleach can compromise the fabric's quality, and fabric softener can seep into the pores of this super-absorbent fabric, negatively affecting its outstanding ability to soak up moisture.

  • Separate colors:
  • If you own multiple handkerchiefs of different colors, it's essential to wash them separately to prevent color bleeding.

  • Washing machine settings:
  • It's essential to use cold or warm water during the wash cycle. These temperature settings are ideal for preserving the fabric's unique properties. For an extra layer of protection and separation, consider using a laundry bag, especially if you're washing it alongside other items.

  • Drying technique:
  • You can use your dryer with the air or tumble dry setting. You can also lay the handkerchief flat to air dry.

    Stain Removal Tips

Accidents happen, and sometimes your sweat-absorbing handkerchief may end up with stains that need a little extra attention. The sooner you address a stain, the better the chances of complete removal. Here are some tips to help you remove common stains:

    1. Blood stains: Soak the stained area in cold water as soon as possible. Gently rub the fabric together to loosen the stain, then rinse with cold water. If the stain persists, create a paste with cold water and a small amount of laundry detergent. Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing.
    2. Food or drink stains: Blot the stain gently with a clean cloth or paper towel to remove any excess. Mix a small amount of dish soap with cold water and apply it to the stain. Use a soft brush to scrub the fabric gently, then rinse with cold water.

    Storing Your Handkerchief

Proper storage is essential to safeguard your sweat-absorbing handkerchief and preserve its quality. Opt for a storage container that allows your handkerchief to breathe so your DRYKI stays dry and fresh. Alternatively, you can utilize our specialized storage bag, designed to keep your handkerchief fresh and ready to go!
